Brought up in the picturesque fishing village of St Ives in Cornwall. I spent my summers drawing fishing boats, submarines and imaginary sea monsters from the same studios that Ben Nicholson, Patrick Heron and even a troubled Francis Bacon spent time working.
From an early age I had aspirations of becoming a film director, then life got in the way. I studied Photography at Falmouth School of Art and Design, and while there got sucked into the ecstatic world of Acid house where my DJ’ing and music career took off, all the time I was designing the flyers, posters, record sleeve art work and merchandise to go with it.
The design career stuck with me, now in my late thirty’s I have found happiness in doing all of the above, although I’ve still not made it as a film director, yet!
